Hence, the "full-stack" developer builds the sites/app from start to end.

Backend Development deals with all your business logic. Business logic is basically some rules or algorithms, that handles the exchange of information between user interface and database.
The Back-end consists of three parts.
There are multiple languages used in writing backend code, You can choose one and start coding in it. There is no need to start learning multiple languages. You can learn any one programming language and start working in that, once you gain enough knowledge in one programming language, you can learn new language if you wish. But one language is more than enough to get you started with Back-end Development.

Databases are the most important thing for a website or an application as it is required to store and access the data of your website.
